The new door lock handles with or without a built-in lock from
Elesa
, that go by the name of ESC, have
a blocking system which makes it possible to keep the door in a closed position. The system of runners
found in the blocking system means that it is possible to compensate for any misalignments in the door
which, when closing, automatically brings it back to the correct position. The positioning of the handle
on the outside of the door makes it easy to install and only needs screws and buts, whereas positioning it
on the rear makes it tamperproof from the outside. The ESC handles are made out of a polyamide-based
technopolymer reinforced with fibreglass. The rotor and stator of the lock, however, are made out of
nickel-plated zama. The size of the handle, 90 mm long, means that it can be fitted on profiles measuring
a minimum of 25 mm and a maximum of 40 mm.
