y focusing on key forms of
technology and services,
earmarked for industrial
manufacturing, as well as innovation and
efficiency, the Hannover Messe Exhibition,
as is the tradition, looks all set to be a ‘not-
to-be-missed’ event and undoubtedly a hu-
ge success. “Based on the positive feedback
from our customers and the excellent trend
in participants, the 2013 edition looks like
its going to be great”, said Jochen Köckler,
a member of the Deutsche Messe Board of
Management. And if you bear in mind the
current economic estimates for the next few
months, this prediction really does come as a
bit of a surprise.
Mr. Köckler added: “In every edition, Han-
nover Messe has proved that, in its role as an
international gathering of decision-making
managers and investors in the industry, eco-
nomy and politics, it is always able to offer
new positive impulses and pointers for the
future”.
According to Mr. Köckler, given the
backdrop of the world’s economic context,
companies are extremely hopeful about next
April’s edition, ‘because they know that at
Hannover possibilities become reality’.
An integrated industry
This year’s event is being held under the ban-
ner of the lead theme ‘integrated industry’
which the organisers are counting on as an
attractive theme for the exhibition district.
“One thing that is for sure - said Mr. Köc-
kler - is that the next edition, which will ha-
ve an outstanding international profile, will
be proposing top quality products, that will
give answers and solutions to the key techni-
cal problems in all industrial sectors, in fact,
Hannover Messe is a showcase of both the
present and the future of the industry”.
The five themed sections that represent the
fulcrum of the exhibition are: industrial au-
tomation & IT, energy and environmental
technologies, power transmission and con-
trol, industrial subcontracting, manufactu-
ring technology and services, research & de-
velopment as they are the actual core of the
industry: “The varying technologies that will
be on display in these themed areas all have
one thing in common: to step up industrial
productivity and, therefore, also the level of
competitiveness for the companies involved”,
explained Mr. Köckler.
Major synergies
Trade within the industry and the synergies
that are created as a result of different sectors
being placed side-by-side in the same exhibi-
tion setting make, according to the organi-
sers, Hannover Messe the only one of its kind
in the world; on the one hand, the event focu-
ses on variety and technological innovation,
whereas, on the other, it extensively explores
The next Hannover Messe Exhibition is being held April 8th-12th and
covers fives themed areas: industrial automation
&
IT, energy and
environmental technologies, power transmission and control, industrial
sub-contracting, manufacturing technology and services, research
&
development. The partner country is Russia
