EW-Eurodrive has been operative in
Italy since 1969. It is based in Solaro
(MI), where the management offices,
the warehouse and the assembly centre are
located. The Italian plant manufactures about
half of the goods that are sold throughout Italy,
where the focus is on the utmost optimisation
of productivity, in accordance with the
principles of Lean Manufacturing. Efficiency
in the assembly areas and throughout the
entire production cycle enable us to fully meet
the delivery times, resulting in high levels
of customer satisfaction. The widespread
presence is guaranteed by the production sites
that are based in Germany, France, the USA,
China, Brazil and Finland and which make all
the primary components. Said components
are then sent to the 46 assembly plants
dotted around the world and assembled in
accordance with the specific requirements
of our clientele. Our customers vary a great
deal in terms of the industries they belong
to: Automotives, Food&Beverage, Logistics,
Packaging, airports, construction, wood,
chemicals & pharmaceuticals and many more.

customers. SEW Italia’s sales network covers
the whole country with branches in Verona,
Bologna, Turin, Caserta and Pescara, and the

assistance service is provided by team of
specialised engineers and is geared towards
responding to all technological requirements
by optimising the solutions. What’s more,
after-sales back-up is also guaranteed which is
provided on both ours and customer premises.

and frequency convertors, servo technology,
decentralised drive systems, industrial gear
units and, obviously, numerous dedicated tool
and services, such as the DriveBenefit, on-line
CAD models and documentation, plus a vast
array of courses and seminars as well as the
added value of services and benefits from
designing to purchasing! In DriveBenefit you
can find a wide selection of services divided up
into four themed areas: design and selection,
purchase orders and logistics, material flow and
application, handling and purchasing spare
parts. The advantages for the user are manifold:
a considerable reduction in costs, a saving
on time, improved process safety, greater
efficiency and better process automation. Our
site is extensive and constantly updated, not
only with news about products and all the latest
technology being launched on the market,
but there you can easily find all the technical
documentation regarding the various products
where the files can be downloaded in .pdf
format in Italian, English and other languages.

available that customers find very useful.
