he Hanover Messe, which will ta-

ke place from Monday 13 to Friday

17 April 2015, is one of the most

important trade fairs worldwide for techno-

logy and industry. All the key industrial sec-

tors are represented: industrial automation

and IT, energy and environmental techno-

logy, drive technology and fluid technology,

industrial subcontracting and manufacturing

technologies, research and development.

Increasing digitization makes today’s industry

very dynamic.

Factories and energy systems are digitally con-

nected in networks, the life cycle of products is

getting shorter, new business models are emer-

ging. In such a context those who continue to

focus only on themselves and their own pur-

view are excluded. In the future, the competitive

strength of a company will depend on its ability

to be closely networked with all the players invol-

ved in the production process, so as to be able to

develop products at an even faster pace.

The theme of the Hanover Messe 2015,

“Integrated Industry - Join the Net-

work!”, describes exactly this type of de-

velopment and will give it new impetus.

This slogan emphasizes that the greatest chal-

lenges of the 4th industrial revolution - like the

adoption of common standards for machine to

machine communication, the problem of data

security, or the search for the business model of

the future - can only be addressed online. And for

this we need a strong network that covers engi-

neering, electrical engineering and IT.

nologie di produzione, Ricerca e sviluppo, rag-

gruppa in effetti i settori chiave dell’industria.

La crescente digitalizzazione rende l’industria

molto dinamica. Fabbriche e sistemi energetici

funzionano collegati digitalmente in rete, il ciclo

di vita dei prodotti si fa più breve, nascono nuo-

vi modelli di business. Chi, in questo contesto,

vuole continuare a puntare solo su di sé e sulle

proprie competenze, rimane escluso. In futuro
