ostante Sesino S.p.A was founded
in 1919 by the Sesino Brothers and
its first activity was related to the
production and repairing of cars’ grills and
radiators. Following a number of ups and
downs, after the Second World War its main
activity was related to the building of car’s,
truck’s and tractor’s radiators for the spare
parts market. Around the half of the ‘50s, the
company decided to diversify its own activity
by producing, as first one in Italy, water-oil and
air-oil heat exchangers for the oleo-hydraulic
market. From the end of the ‘60s till today
the company has been leaving the radiators
market in order to develop the exchanger
technique only. During that long improving
period, Costante Sesino S.p.A. has changed
its production plant four times, the last one in
2003 to the new seat in Gessate, a modern
and functional area with a covered surface of
4.000 m².
Huge investments have been decided for
the new plant in order to buy new machines
and equipment. Other short-term investments
have been planned in order to increase the
product’s quality and production.
The present products ranges are the following:
• Water-oil heat exchangers,
built with little,
smooth copper tubes with a highest exchange
surface of 3,6 m². They are suitable for cooling
oleo-hydraulic plants, injection presses for
plastics and rubber, machine-tools, speed
reducers.
• Braze-welded water-oil heat exchangers,
built with brazed stainless steel plates together
with a copper alloy by using an under vacuum
procedure. They are suitable for cooling
machines and plants and they provide better
applications than pipe exchangers when you
need to limit the overall dimensions.
• AC air-oil heat exchanger,
they are more
and more used instead of water-oil exchangers
for evident ecological reasons and saving, for
cooling machines and plants. They are built
with an aluminium cooling element in order
to get a better thermal function and a higher
resistance to possible different pressures

• Self-contained cooling units,
they
are used for the same fields when specific
technical needs make to choose an off-line
exchanger rather than an oleo-hydraulic plant
to be cooled. They are very stiff units and
they can be equipped, on demand, with an
electronic thermostat to keep the oil at the
desired temperature.
• DC air-oil heat exchangers,
they are
used in the market of moving machines such
as machines being used for road works,
machines that are used in the building field,
in agriculture, concrete mixers, cranes
and so on. They are built with an aluminium
cooling element too, with a fixed thermostat
with IP 65 protection and some plated parts
that are treated in order to prevent corrosive
phenomena.
• Air-oil heat exchangers with hydraulic
motor,
they are used in the market of moving
machines when the machine’s battery can’t
bear the absorption of a DC fan or when the
needs to get high thermal exchanges can’t
be assured by DC exchangers. They are
built with an aluminium cooling element
and they use the same anticorrosive
treatment.
