Eural Gnutti is the European
leader in the production
of profiles and bars in alu-
minium alloy, both extruded and
drawn. It consists of two produc-
tion sites, both in the province of
Brescia, Lombardy. It starts from
the Pontevico foundry with the
production of billets, and conti-
nues at the plant in Rovato, where
they become semi-finished pro-
ducts for industry. The factories,
which together cover an area of
400,000 square meters and em-
ploy more than 400 people, pro-
duce tens of thousands of tons of
aluminium per year, 70% of which
are exported worldwide.
Eighty percent of the semi-finished
products from Eural Gnutti are
drawn or extruded bars, round or
shaped, generated by three inverse
technology presses, the larger of
which (5,500 tons) is inserted in-
to a plant of the latest generation.
The remaining 20% is represented
by profiles, extruded by two direct
technology presses (1,600 and
2,800 tons, respectively). Most
of the profiles are custom develo-
ped and designed. However, Eural
Gnutti has also hundreds of machi-
nes with which it can make standard
products for pneumatic actuators,
heat sinks, hydraulics, structural
elements and much more.
The alloys produced for the bars,
for turning and/or forging, are
2011, 2007, 2030, 2017A,
2024, 6026, 6064A, 6082,
6061, 6262, 6262A, 7075.
For the profiles they offer 6060,
6063, 6005, 6082 , 6026,
7003.
Providing quality service to the au-
tomotive industry is the reason why
Eural Gnutti obtained in 2008 the
ISO TS 16949 certification,
the industry quality standard
coveted by all major automo-
tive manufacturers. In addition,
the company has implemented an
automated ultrasonic inspection
system that certifies the absolute
integrity of all the billets produced
by the Pontevico foundry, in ac-
cordance with class A of the SAE
AMS-STD 2154 norm. It also has
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifi-
cations.
Eural Gnutti è leader eu-
ropeo per la produzione
di profilati, barre estruse
e trafilate, in leghe di alluminio. È
composta da due siti produttivi
entrambi nella provincia di Brescia:
parte dalla fonderia di Pontevico
con la produzione di billette, e pro-
segue nello stabilimento di Rovato,
dove le billette diventano semila-
vorati per l’industria. Le fabbriche,
che nel complesso si estendono su
un’area di 400.000 metri quadrati
e danno lavoro a più di 400 per-
sone, producono decine di migliaia
di tonnellate di alluminio l’anno, il
70% delle quali esportate in tutto
il mondo. I semilavorati realizzati
dall’Eural Gnutti sono costituiti per
l’80% da barre estruse o trafilate,
tonde o sagomate, generate da tre
presse a tecnologia inversa, di cui
la maggiore da 5.500 t inserita in
un impianto di nuovissima gene-
razione. Il restante 20% è invece
rappresentato dai profilati, estrusi
da due presse a tecnologia diretta
da 1.600 e 2.800 t. La gran parte
dei profili prodotti sono sviluppati
su disegno in esclusiva per i clien-
ti. Tuttavia Eural Gnutti è proprie-
taria di centinaia di attrezzature
libere con cui realizza e propone
semilavorati standard per attuato-
ri pneumatici, dissipatori di calore,
oleoidraulica, elementi strutturali e
molto altro ancora.
Le leghe prodotte per le barre,
per torneria e/o stampaggio, so-
no 2011, 2007, 2030, 2017A,
2024, 6026, 6064A, 6082,
6061, 6262, 6262A, 7075. Per i
profilati sono 6060, 6063, 6005,
6082, 6026, 7003.
Fornire un servizio di qualità all’in-
dustria automobilistica è il motivo
per cui l’Eural Gnutti ha ottenuto
nel 2008 la certificazione ISO TS
16949, la norma di qualità spe-
cifica del settore voluta da tutti i
principali produttori di autovet-
ture. Oltre a ciò, ha implementato
un sistema automatico di controlli
a ultrasuoni che certifica l’assoluta
integrità di tutte le billette prodot-
te dalla fonderia di Pontevico, se-
condo la classe A della norma SAE
AMS-STD 2154. Inoltre possiede
le certificazioni ISO 9001 e ISO
14001.
