sospingere nuovi sistemi di mobilità e lo-
gistica, rendere disponibili alle imprese
l’ideazione e la certificazione di strutture,
anticipare nuove forme di mobilità e relati-
vi modelli economici.
Transalley riunisce a oggi più di 60.000 pro-
fessionisti, 300 figure commerciali e 400 ri-
cercatori nel campo della mobilità sosteni-
bile. Le esperienze coinvolgono costruttori
di automobili e attrezzature ferroviarie,
produttori di componenti, uffici di proget-
tazione, centri di sperimentazione e certi-
ficazione.
Il parco tecnologico schiera un team di
esperti nel settore della mobilità in grado
di fornire ad aziende e ricercatori accesso
diretto a: servizi tecnologici di ricerca e svi-
luppo, networking, innovazione, incuba-
tori, set-up, ricerca di personale, sviluppo
risorse umane, attività internazionali ecc.

The region of Lille in northern France
is one of the most dynamic hotspots
on the Old Continent, and the local
authorities are doing everything they
can to ensure that it continues to grow.
Its fortuitous geographical position
lends itself well to development.
Indeed, Lille is situated at the center
of a circle with a 300-kilometer
diameter that encompasses five major
European hubs: London, Amsterdam,
Brussels, Luxembourg and Paris.
Not only is it one of Europe’s most
concentrated regions for automotive
production, but it vaunts an advanced
network of local transport, thanks
in part to government investment
in infrastructure and cutting-edge
research.
The Association Régionale de
l’Industrie Automobile Nord Pas de
Calais, situated in the region of the
same name in northern France, is the
second most important in the country.
The auto industry in this area is also its
largest employer, with 60,000 people
working among the four auto giants
with seven production plants (Toyota,
Renault, Peugeot, Fiat), not to mention
140 suppliers and subcontractors,
and 120 service providers. In 2012
the number of vehicles that came off
the lines reached 550,000 (30% of
domestic production), to which we
can add 1 million engines and 1.5
million transmissions (40% of national
output).
