The Global Procurement Hub for Machinery
With a population of 23 million,
Taiwan is an island nearly as big
as the size of Denmark. It has the
second largest population density
in the world with a super power in
the machine tool manufacturing
industry, representing the best
springboard to enter the Mainland
Chinese market.
In early July, the lights of every
machine tool company in Taiwan are
still on, as 130 companies prepare
their state-of-the-art machines
and components to be packed and
shipped to Milano in Italy, where
the Olympic games of machine
tool industry will be held this year.
The biennial EMO exhibition is the
world’s premier trade fair for metal
working technology. Exhibitors from
Taiwan are going to showcase their
new technology from the 5th to
the 10th of October. Buyers from
all over the world are anticipating
higher speed, higher efficiency, more
rigidity and of course more price
competitive machines from Taiwan.
According to official figures,
Taiwan will be the third biggest
country in terms of exhibitor count
this year, just behind Italy and
Germany, and followed by Mainland
China, Switzerland, Japan and others.
A total of 130 Taiwanese exhibitors
will take part and occupy a space
of 12,300 square meters, making
Taiwan the biggest participant
outside the European Free Trade
Association. At the EMO Milano
2015, the majority of Taiwanese
exhibitors will be concentrated in
Hall 9-11 and Hall 2-4, featuring
l a thes , mi l l i ng mach i nes , CNC
machining centers, EDM and flexible
manufacturing systems (FMS).
The providers of tools, cutters and
components will be in Hall 6-10 and
for Hall 14-18, grinding machines are
going to be the focus.
The machines from Taiwan
feature the entire spectrum of
metalworking technology. Today,
a machine labeled with “Made in
Taiwan”, MIT, stands for top quality,
functionality and highly varied design
at an appealing price-performance
ratio. We cordially invite you to visit
Taiwanese exhibitors at the EMO
Milano 2015. We look forward to
seeing you in Milano.
