Large capacity compressors from Danfoss

Danfoss enlarged the Turbocor line of variable speed, oil-free compressors for the HVAC industry with the TT700 compressor, which expands the capacity range of the TT series. The TT700 targets 400V and 380V applications, and is able to deliver 200 Tons (700kW) at typical full load rating conditions for this kind of applications, both 50Hz and 60Hz.

Designed for water cooled chiller applications, the TT700 compressors are oil-free, variable speed magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors that provide outstanding full and part-load energy efficiency. The compressors also have a small footprint, are light weight and offer low vibration, very low sound, intelligent controls and soft starting characteristics. The TT700 compressors are available to existing Danfoss OEMs using the Turbocor line of compressors, and are available in four different models ranging from 90 to 200 tons (300 to 700kW). The Turbocor technology was also awarded top honors for Product of the year at the 2015 AHR Expo, and honorable mention for Turbocor TG compressors in the green building category in the 2017 AHR Expo Innovation Awards program.
