Filter elements Fai Filtri dedicated to the wind sector
The Italian filtration specialist Fai Filtri expanded its product offering with the introduction of a special range of filters dedicated to the world of wind turbines. The new range of filters, which find their use in gearboxes and lubrication systems, plays an important role in the maintenance and cleaning of the hydraulic system of wind turbines.
Due to their innovative design, these filters ensure safer conditions and better performance, thereby contributing to a longer life for the turbine itself. The challenging operating conditions and atmospheric variables cause premature wear of the materials that make up the turbines, thus leading to the formation of particles that can contaminate the oil, consequently causing the wear of the components of the hydraulic systems.
The range of filters developed by the R&D of Fai Filtri allows to obtain optimal performance while preserving both the gearbox and the entire turbine, meaning for customers in the wind sector a significant reduction in costs and a better optimization of wind energy production, thus contributing to respect the environment.
