Electromagnetic level indicators, precision and flexibility by F.lli Giacomello
The IEG-TC1 – 1/2 by F.lli Giacomello are electromagnetic level indicators that provide one or two contacts, built to guarantee the minimum or maximum level of liquids in tanks containing liquids with maximum safety.
The products are aimed for the level control of liquids in hydraulic control units for mineral oils with viscosity not higher than 80° E, but they are intended as well for diesel and other non-corrosive and flammable liquids.
The functioning is simple: when the float of the indicator during its travel strokes the Reed switch, incorporated in a predefined point, the contact, solicited by the magnet housed in the float, opens or closes, thus having the possibility to send a reminder signal, acoustic or visual, or cutting off any electrical equipment connected to it.
The indicator must be mounted in a vertical position, on a 1/2″ GAS threaded hole; the seal is guaranteed by a flat synthetic fiber gasket. The float must be mounted at least 35 mm away from ferrous surfaces, such as tank walls.
F.lli Giacomello has been producing level indicators since 1985 which it sells all over the world. Over the years it has become known on the market for its flexibility and has established itself thanks to its ability to respond to the different needs of customers. Precision and functionality, up to two control points and the high quality materials employed are the peculiarities offered by the IEG-TC1 1/2 electromagnetic level indicators.
