Blades with Walter Cut dual precision cooling

Walter Cut introduces the dual precision cooling deep parting blades G2042..N-P, enabling tool life extension by up to 200%, thanks to reduced tool wear rate, excellent chip evacuation and higher cutting data on stainless materials, steel and high temperature alloys.

With the same tool life, the blades can increase cutting speeds by up to 50%, introducing a new system allowing the coolant to flow through the adaptor and the blade, exiting at the rake and flank faces directly at the cutting zone. The coolant transfer system, applied for a patent by Walter, can be fitted from both sides without any installation aid, reliably guiding the coolant into the blade without any protrusion in the outer blade face. The deep parting blade can be used for grooving and parting off on virtually all type of lathes, effectively working from a coolant pressure of 10 bar, right up to a maximum of 80 bar. Its neutral design allows at last universal employ.
