Markus Nolte appointed new CEO of Austrian machine tool builder Emco

As of 1st July 2023, Markus Nolte has taken up the position as CEO at EMCO GmbH. The Austrian company, a machine tool manufacturer, has 800 employees, 5 production sites and a global sales and service network, and is recognized worldwide for its high-quality machine tools ‘Made in the Heart of Europe’, for innovations and for customer proximity.

Markus Nolte will lead Emco’s ambitious growth path: “I am looking forward to this exciting challenge in a highly agile market environment – says Nolte -. Over the past 25 years, Nolte has gained extensive experience in various management functions and industries, including as CEO of a listed aerospace supplier and as head of sales & development of a global automotive supplier.

As a full-service provider in turning and milling and as a manufacturer of high-tech turnkey solutions, Emco is ideally positioned for the next growth steps. On the ambitious strategic path, Nolte can rely on a strengthened management team. Jörg Weinkogl has been responsible for sales, service and marketing since 1 June 2023. Horst Rettenbacher strengthens the management team as CFO with his many years of experience at Emco.
