Cameron Ward joined the team of RS Components, the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc, as senior vice president of innovation. Ward will be responsible for extending the application of innovation and technology across the business to improve customer and supplier experience.
This includes leading the DesignSpark initiative, which offers key design informations, resources and a suite of free-for-download tools to its community of over 500.000 members. “I’m extremely passionate about innovation – said Ward – and the benefits technology can bring to a business, and I’m very excited to be joining RS at this pivotal time to help drive increased value for our customers and suppliers”.
