Following the strong demand from the market for an even closer collaboration in tube and profile processing, Bystronic and the Italian TTM Laser agreed on a full takeover of TTM Laser Spa by Bystronic. The operations evolves the existing partnership between the two companies, which has until now comprised joint sales activities.
With the TTM Laser technologies Bystronic expands its existing portfolio for the cutting and bending of metal sheet with applications for tubes with diameters between 12 an 815 mm and for profiles. In addition, Bystronic is expanding its portfolio with solutions for the laser welding of large-format metal sheets. For the time being, in spite of the full takeover by Bystronic, TTM Laser will continue to exist as a brand, providing customers the access to a wider range of technologies and services from a strong partner that stands for sustainability and innovation.
Fiorenzo Castellini, the current ceo of TTM Laser, will retire from executive management. He will hand over the responsibility to the remaining management team of the company. The Italian headquarters in Cazzago San Martino, Brescia, and the staff there will remain under the umbrella of Bystronic.
