BLM Group will display the concepts of innovation and Industry 4.0 characterizing its tube bending machines at Blechexpo 2017, November 7-10 in Stuttgart, Germany. Among them, the software has a main role shifting the focus from the single job to the finished part, looking at manufacturing as a single process rather than a series of disconnected steps. The import of a 3D model of the finished products with the Artube CAD-CAM system, for example, allows to identify and break down the single laser cutting and bending jobs allocating them into various manufacturing systems, no more forcing the programmers to design each job one-by-one.
Machines that dialogue and collaborate with one another and with the manufacturing management system, thanks to the applications within the ProTube Enterprise package, achieve the concept of integration, managing and controlling a complete manufacturing process for tube processing. New graphic interfaces make system operation simple and user-friendly, while simplification also passes through intelligent transfer within production systems: here, laser ‘Active Tools’, B-Tools and B-Right for bending systems are some examples of decision-making transferred from the operator to the machine, providing them an essential help to ensure the correct job and the maximum product quality.
BLM Group will be at Blechexpo 2017 in stand 1610 of Hall 1, where the company will display the LC5 combined tube and sheet system, an example of laser processing flexibility and automation with a 6kW fibre laser source. Also, it will be possibile to see the LT8.10 Fibre, a flexible and complete laser tube system, simple to use thanks to the new graphic interface and Active Tools functions, the E-Turn 40 tube bender, which automatically detects errors using the B-Right system, and the LT-Free 5-axis laser system, for extreme flexibility in processing sheets, boxed sections, drawn materials and tubes.
