Haimer evolves to an entire provider for tool management around the machine tool, with the acquisition of Microset tool presetting technology. The Haimer Microset equipments streamline the presetting process, reducing set-up times by as much as 70%, minimizing idle time and increasing machine utilization. The machines are easy to use, equipped with uncomplicated software and with a cast iron stable base construction, in a wide range of tool presetting machines fitting every application and budget.

The Microset range includes the VIO series, with VIO Basic manually operated or with optical semiautomatic feature (autofocus), and VIO Linear, a complete solution for fully automatic high-end tool presetting with customizable options and a modular concept, for tool presetting up to 1.000 mm in length and diameter.

The UNO series offers precision, speed and reliability, with high-tech features in an entry-level tool presetter. Ideal for measurement during production, UNO Smart features a small footprint, user-friendly operation and high-precision. UNO Autofocus allows motorized fine adjustment of the C-axis for demanding measurements (2 microns for spindle runout), and the UNO Automatic Drive offers fully automated operations, requiring minimal user expertise. All the automated presetter use Microset image processing system, and the devices are compatible with machine tools from all manufacturers, with post-processed data transfer via network or USB.
