BIG Kaiser’s Dyna Test is a precision test bar developed by the company for spindle inspection, enabling customers to identify problems in time and avoid future problems.
Regularly inspecting with the Dyna Test bar can identify potential problems with spindles and bearings, thereby reducing down time and avoiding expensive repairs. When machine spindle damage is not detected in time, it can indeed have a major impact on machining operations, potentially causing product rejections and excessive tool wear.
When used, the device is clamped in the machine spindle and then rotated. A dial gauge measures the deflection of the test mandrel, checking the concentricity of the spindle. While this test can, of course, be performed with a tool and identifies concentricity inaccuracies, it is still necessary to determine whether the problem is caused by the spindle, the shank or the tool itself. The Dyna Test bar identifies spindle inaccuracies immediately, eliminating all other variables.
To meet the requirements of ISO9000, BIG Kaiser can provide a calibration certificate with traceability on request. To ensure the highest possible precision, all Dyna Test bars are produced under an extremely strict quality control system.
Dyna Test bars are available for BBT, BDV, HSK and BIG Capto. The test bars are protected in a sturdy aluminum storage case. BIG Kaiser encourages to utilize precise machine testing equipment, essential in order to ensure smooth interaction between all components, and thus achieving superior-quality machining results.
