The Eplan Platform 2.6 offers numerous technical upgrades for terminal design, with better project data management and easier integration in everyday work processes. Used accessories can easily be depicted when processing and managing terminal strips, and automatically or manually defined jumpers can also be easily identified, displaying the current terminal status as represented in the Navigator. A new connection-oriented view quickly shows which terminal connections are still free and therefore available.

The Quick Input Filter for project management makes it easier to process and manage projects and project data, and subprojects are freely definable and can be saved at will, with more flexibility in name allocation. Eplan Fluid Professional, including the Eplan Pro Panel add-on, offers the possibility to represent piping and hydraulic hose lines directly in 3D, with complete layout functionality, with also an export function in order to transfer the pipe geometries to external manufacturing softwares for pipe bending. Eplan Preplanning then allows data from external sources to be imported, with preview function allowing incoming data to be verified before being imported.

At last, user management has been enhanced, so that existing users can simply be imported into an IT infrastructure instead of having to create a new user. With the addition of Turkish, the platform is now offered in a total of 18 languages.
