Telescopic rails Rollon for intralogistics in the e-commerce eraERT

Rollon presents its solutions aimed for warehouse automation and all areas of intralogistics in the era of e-commerce revolution. The company’s telescopic rails manage the extraction process in support of shuttles running unceasingly between the shelves of automated warehouses.

In particular, the ASN rail offers reduced cross-section dimensions, meaning that the warehouse can store more objects in the same amount of space. The extraction system resulting is extremely rigid, thanks to induction hardened raceways employed in the ASN telescopic rails that allow them to maintain coupling and preserve rigidity. In addition, the Rollon solutions such as ASN and DE telescopic rails allow shuttles to extract products in two directions, thanks to the double stroke configuration option, while the strokes can be extended up to 75%, meaning that when using two pairs of two-stage extraction rails, a total extraction of 150% of the width of the shuttle can be reached.

Rollon also offers high customization capabilities, to provide mechanical systems integrated with personalized components meeting customer’s specific needs, ranging from  belt mechanisms for synchronization to ground raceways for further improving sliding movements, and also including rails with ball bearings integrated into a special intermediate element to maximize rigidity.

The company’s portfolio also includes solutions for stacker cranes, with belt-driven actuators from the Smart System product family, which guarantee speed and high acceleration along with no need to lubricate the belt, providing a perfect solution for stressful work cycles. Finally, the DSS telescopic rails offer a high load (up to 500 kg per pair of rails) and low degree of bending for vertical warehouses operations, allowing the operator to extract the tray holding the materials and to easily re-insert it inside the drawer.
