SMC presents the Ethernet/IP compatible JXC91 Direct Input Type Step Motor controller, ideal for general industrial machiners who rely on accurate positioning at high speed and force control. The device responds to the market demand for controlling SMC’s popular range of LE electric actuators. The JXC91 features a dual port IN / OUT connection with linear and device level ring (DLR) topologies, giving added security as communication continues even where there is a disconnected element.

Real time is achieved through numerical data input, in addition to half/full duplex high speed communication of 10/100 Mbps. The device uses the most common form of protocol within the process and automation applications, providing a simpler and closer control. Due to its clever design, the JXC91 delivers a wealth of additional set up, space, cable and maintenance savings, and is the latest in a line of SMC’s product innovations, offering greater flexibility combined with a range of savings and stronger security.
