Škoda Auto appointed Oliver Stefani as its new Head of design, starting on September 1st 2017. Previously working as the exterior design director at Volkswagen, he joined the Volkswagen group back in 2002, and since then he has been playing various roles in the group, majorly contributing in the development of cars like Polo, Jetta, Tiguan and also the ID concept.
Having great creative potential, Stefani will now instigate the next stage of development in Škoda’s design, designing out cars to have even greater emotional resonance. He will also lead them into the era of digitalization and electrification of vehicle manufacturing.
