Southco completed the acquisition of CounterBalance Corporation, a US based manufacturer of modular torsion spring systems. The position control solutions of CounterBalance are designed to eliminate the effort required to lift lids, covers, hatches and countertops, and are applied on a variety of equipment and countertop applications across several industries, such as medical, industrial, military, education, hospitality and food service.
The company’s design and manufacturing capabilities will strengthen Southco’s global Positioning technology product portfolio, by expanding the performance to cover a variety of applications with higher load forces, adding value to its extensive customer base in a wide variety of industries and applications.
