Parker Hannifin extends the compact brushless servo motors range SMH/SMB with a 40mm size, with torque capability of 0,19 Nm. The flexibility of motor frame configurations and options offered make it highly adaptable to OEMs needs, in food processing, packaging, robot and handling machinery. Dimensions have been considerably reduced offering significant advantages in terms of specific torque, approx. 30% higher when compared to traditional-technology brushless servo motors, offering also better dynamic performances, with extremely low rotor inertias.
The SMH/SMB series is now available in sizes from 40mm to 170mm, with nominal torque ranges from 0.19 to 60 Nm and features speeds up to 7.500 rpm. The SMH40/SMB40 is available in two lengths, 92 and 109mm, rated at 0,19 Nm and 0,38 Nm respectively, 230 VAC. The servo motor features the same feedback types and options of the rest of the range, including robust resolver interface and multiple high precision digital position feedback options. The product can also be ordered as a single cable servo motor featuring the Hiperface DSL feedback system, completely digital, interference—free and with encoder communication integrated into the motor power connection cable, not requiring a separate feedback connection cable between drive and motor.
