Scholarship Mandelli in memory

Mandelli Sistemi announced the creation of a scholarship in Mechanical engineering named after Francesco Mulazzi, mechanical design manager in the Piacenza site of the italian machine tools company, recently and prematurely passed away. The company aims to create an opportunity for young talents in the machine tools sector, attending the Laurea magistrale in Mechanical engineering during academic year 2016-2017, specialising in Machine tools and manufacturing systems at the Politecnico di Milano, Piacenza branch.

The awarded student will have the possibility to carry out a 6-month training internship at the Mandelli Sistemi plant in Piacenza, after graduating in Laurea Magistrale. In addition, the scholarship, which will be repeated every year in the future, will assign an equal to 5.000 euro to the winner, divided in a first tranche of 3.000 euro, assigned in October according to the grades obtained during the first year of study, and a second one of 2.000 when the Laurea magistrale will be awarded, within the academic year in question. The scholarship has been publicised on the institutional Mandelli Sistemi website, as well as on that of Politecnico di Milano Piacenza branch, of Musp Consortium of Piacenza and of Ucimu, the Italian machine tools manufacturer’s association.
