Robotics Still on Intralogistics 4.0ERT

Still introduces robotics moving forward intralogistics 4.0 with the iGo neo CX 20 a commissioning solution able to follow intuitively the operator ensuring time saving up to 30% during order-picking. The commissioning solution evolves the Still’s CX 20 order picker with a two-ton load capacity, introducing new cognitive abilities using intelligent robotics. The iGo Neo CX 20 is an intelligent truck that adjusts to the operator’s work rhythm recognising his intentions, following him step by step keeping a proper safety distance, allowing the operator to move freely and focusing entirely on order-picking, working unimpeded and error-free, not required to drive the truck and consuming time getting on and off.

A Motion tracking system allows the interaction of man and machine, with a 360° sensor-assisted visual field, enabling the truck to constantly react to the environment, sensing the warehouse topology recognising the operator and other people, racks, shelves and obstacles. Scanners record the surrounding situation 84.000 times a second, and the computer evaluates data in real time, having access also to a type of short-term memory allowing to notice obstacles already passed, distinguishing between stationary and moving ones. The operator is then free to decide at any time whether to use the truck autonomously or manually, pressing a simple button.
