Railway industry, Expo Ferroviaria moves to Milan
Milan is hosting the Expo Ferroviaria 2017 edition, planned from 3 to 5 October at Rho Fiera and dedicated to the entire market for railway industry, with technologies, products and services. The decision to locate for the first time the event in Milan has been very well received by exhibitors, and by mid-March the figure of companies to exhibit has reached nearly 200 from 15 countries, with around 4.500 m2 of floor space occupied. Part of the exhibition floor is being assigned to the Infrastructure Area, underlining the vital importance of this sector of the industry. On Track Displays of equipment and products will be a key feature of this area of the show.
In addition, a new highlight at Expo Ferroviaria 2017, organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions, will be an outdoor area for the display of rolling stock and on-track equipment, to be located at the Fiorenza depot of show partner TreNord, adjacent to the Rho Fiera exhibition venue. The event is indeed supported by show partners representing both the supply sector and leading operators of national and regional rail services in Italy. An extensive program of activities alongside the event will then include conferences and seminars, communicating the latest industry trends, plus technical visits to local railway sites. More details can be found at the Associated events section of the exhibition.
