PTC and Bosch IoT connector
PTC and Bosch Software Innovations held a technology stack for the integration of the ThingWorx Platform and the Bosch IoT Suite. The Bosch IoT Suite M2M connector is now available on the ThingWorx Marketplace, allowing IoT developers to connect and control heterogeneous systems and devices, rapidly developing IoT applications for complex IT landscapes, and easily with drag-and-drop functions, adapting smart and connected solutions across different company processes, typical of automotive, aerospace and mechanical and plant engineers sectors, made up of different machines, devices and processes that must be adjusted to properly work together.
The technology stack has been successfully tested in the Track & trace testbend of the Industrial Internet Consortium, by wirelessly connecting tightening tools, to seamlessly operate together on the factory floor. The Track & trace application monitors in real time the status of all the devices, using collected data to optimize production and tool maintenance, suddenly detecting irregularities and impending failures, avoiding downtimes.
