Heinz-Jürgen Prokop is the new chairman of the executive committee of the VDW and of the sector Association machine tools and manufacturing systems within the Vdma. Effective since January 1st 2016, he succeed Martin Kapp, who ends his second term of office after six years.
“The task for VDW – said Prokop – is to support its member companies in future-shaping issues, like internationalisation, energy-efficieny, additive manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0”.
