Polymers, Victrex oil & gas webinar

Victrex and Smithers Rapra will host together a free webinar on assessing polymer performance in hot and sour oil & gas environments, scheduled next wednesday March 9th, 2016 at 4 pm CET. The webinar will discuss standard test methods assessing high-performance polymers, in order to outline how test procedures required for compliance, as for Norsok and ISO, and published results can sometimes be incomplete or inconclusive to provide a complete picture of lifetime in service.

Covering the potential pitfalls of data will be Geoff Small, energy market technology manager at Victrex, and Alexandra Torgersen, consultant at Alexandra Torgersen Engineering, explaining what to look out for to ensure a ‘safe usage window’, assesing long-term performance, and also presenting data generated on Victrex Peek 450G polymer in various environments.
