Painting line Olpidürr awarded by FCA

Olpidürr received the Capital equipment supplier of the year award by the FCA Group, for the ‘outstanding project management’ of the new RoDip painting line for premium cars installed in the FCA plant in Mirafiori. Olpidürr is the italian subsidiary of multinational German Group Dürr specialized in painting plants, industrial cleaning and air treatment systems.

The award has been assigned during the Qualitas supplier convention organized by the Group purchasing Emea of FCA, attended by over one thousand of Fiat Chrysler for the Emea area and aimed to recognize its best suppliers, as well as the relevance of synergy and integration to achieve quality. The award has been presented by Marco Dalla Vedova, global head of Capex & Indirect Materials and Emea head of services FCA, to Marco Pizzamiglio, chairman of Olpidürr. The RoDip painting line is the first rotation technology for car bodies in pre-treatment and e-coat lines implemented by the Group, and allowed to achieve strict environmental targets and lower operating costs in the vehicles production, while maintaining excellent appearance and quality.
