The OnRobot 3FG15 three-finger gripper offers a 150 mm stroke and 15 kg payload, designed for heavy payload machine tending applications requiring precision and flexibility.

The device was developed as an electric gripper in response to existing pneumatic three-finger grippers, that are bulkier and less flexible. It therefore allows users to deploy applications faster and with highly accurate and fixed positioning. The 3FG15 offers a gripping force from 10-250 N, and is compatible with any major collaborative robot or light industrial robot arm through OnRobot’s One System Solution. The platform provides a unified mechanical and electrical interface between the robot arms and any OnRobot EoAT.

The design of the gripper, developed for CNC machine tending operations, automatically centers workpieces, ensuring a secure and reliable gripping and precise positioning in machine’s spindles. The product was also designed as a suitable solution for packaging and palletizing applications.
