Hydac developed OXiStop, a system for oil volume reduction in hydraulic machinery up to 10 times, allowing a reduced tank design according to differential volume actually needed, reducing its size. The pump flow rate is no more relevant for the tank design. The tank solution integrates several technologies, creating a hydraulically driven degassing and dewatering unit, increasing oil service life and protecting the equipments.
Core of the solution is the patented MiniOx technology, a mechanical system allowing the fluid to attain very low gas and water content, eliminating diesel effects and cavitation, thanks to continuous degassing. A membrane keeps the fluid vacuum packed, allowing the installation of OXiStop also in extremely dusty or humid environments. OXiStop can also be equipped with optional return line filter, bypass flow filter, water / oil coolers as well as with AquaSensors AS and ContaminationSensor CS, and is available in three standard sizes for a differential operating volume up to 70 liters. Additionally, customer-specific solutions can be realized.
