Motion Solutions, Duplomatic celebrates its 70th anniversaryERT

Duplomatic MS – founded in Lombardy, Italy, on June 26th, 1952, has just celebrated its 70th anniversary with a Family Day that brought together the Italian employees and their families for a day of sharing and fun at the Rugby playground in Parabiago, Milan, Italy, which the company sponsors based on the values of sport, inclusiveness, and solidarity.

From the first innovative hydraulic copier for the automation of machine tools to the engineering work of Expo 2020 Santiago Calatrava’s UAE Pavilion, over these decades Duplomatic MS has become an international group with over 5,000 customers and thirteen production sites around the world.

1952-2022, Duplomatic 70 years history
In Legnano, Milan, Italy, in 1952 Angelo Girola founded Duplomatic to produce an innovative device, the hydraulic copier that would have been able to transform the industry passing from artisanal manufacturing to mass production, because it allows to reproduce turned parts, drastically reducing lead time, copying and reproducing a specific shape. Hence the name Duplomatic.
Seventy years later, Duplomatic employs over 650 people in the various companies that make up the group, divided between production, research, sales and marketing located all over the world.

The celebration event did not only retrace the past, but it also offered an insight into the future, thanks to the recently announced agreement with Daikin Industries, according to which Duplomatic will become part of the large Japanese group at the end of the month.

“We started 70 years ago from hydraulics, extending our skills to become suppliers of 360° motion solutions – said Roberto Maddalon, CEO of Duplomatic, who has been leading the company since 1996 -. This evolution has brought us to become one of the leading groups active in the global market for motion control products and solutions for industrial and mobile applications. Now we look to the future: the integration with Daikin Industries will allow us to further expand our product ranges”.
