Mobile system solutions Parker for electrification at Bauma 2019ERT

Parker Hannifin will showcase at Bauma 2019, April 8-14 in Munich (Hall A4, Stand 215), the latest integrated electrified system solutions and technology innovations for the sustainability in the mobile sector.

The company’s Future Lab will host the launch of electrification solutions with integrated electrified systems on display, including EcoReach, a highly-engineered and integrated hydraulic system combining a number of state-of-the-art core Parker technologies. These include a PMAC (permanent magnet AC) motor that improves load handling and reduces energy consumption, a reversible pump that converts shaft power into hydraulic power and runs as a motor driving the electric motor as a generator, and an optimized valve system featuring a combination of different elements designed specifically for forklift applications. EcoReach also features an integrated hydraulic unit with the motor, pump and hydraulic valves all incorporated into a single housing – this minimises the number of components, enhancing reliability and reducing installation size.

Parker is also bringing at Bauma optimized solutions for steer-by-wire systems deployed in mobile machinery with the new SBW110 proportional, load sensing, pre-compensated mobile valve, and the new size of the Global vehicle motor (GVM310), an optimized traction solution to meet high-performance demands of on-road commercial and off-road electric vehicles, and hybrid electric vehicles.

Parker will also demonstrate its mobile IoT solutions designed to reduce asset downtime, eliminate unnecessary spend and ensure compliance and safety, as well as gain critical visibility into the performance and locations of mobile equipment. Displays will show Parker’s technology capabilities to enable OEMs to reduce the complexity of their designs and minimize production downtime through system integration.
