Marposs acquires Movomatic and brings the brand back to life

Marposs has completed the acquisition of the process measuring technology business for grinding machines from Jenoptik (Jena, Germany), formerly known as Movomatic.
Marposs is therefore bringing back the brand to the market, which was previously abandoned following the integration in Jenoptik. Marposs takes over all the facilities, management and employees at the main site in Peseux, Switzerland, as well as in Ratingen and Ludwigsburg, Germany, a total of 40 people, ensuring continuity of best service and support levels.
The two companies have unique products and dedicated market strategies, which will be maintained with an autonomous approach of the respective customers. Possible integrations between the two line products, for example the possibility to combine measuring solutions of Movomatic with wheel balancing systems and sensors offered by Marposs, will be evaluated for possible future technical integrations.
With this acquisitions strategy, along with a longtime expertise in the field of high precision measuring and control solutions for the industrial production, Marposs aims to expand its presence on the market, while widening the portfolio of products and solutions for its customers.
