Makino increases preventive maintenance

After expanding its activities in the Netherlands since October 2015, Makino has now established a new partnership with HTM Nederland, a company based in Hengelo, near the german border and joining the long-time sales partnership in the region with Produtec to further increase the range of services in the field of preventive maintenance, cutting response times of requests on the existing machine pool.

The number of customers moving away from reactive measures towards structured maintenance programmes is indeed increasing, as long as it allows machine operators to better plan operating costs, also ensuring a better production by helping to maintain a high level of production-resources availability, avoiding unpleasant surprises and the risk of production losses. Since the beginning of 2016 Makino has already completed the training of a first group of service engineers from HTM Nederland, in the Makino training academy in Bratislava, and more engineers are already being trained, under the guidance of experienced Makino service engineers.
