Indian subsidiary NORD Drivesystems expansion

NORD Drivesystems invested INR 45 million, approximately € 600.000, for the expansion of its Indian subsidiary, NORD Drivesystems Pvt. Ltd. facility in Pune. With the creation of a new service area (pictured from left, P. L. Muthusekkar, general director NORD India, and Jutta Humbert, managing partner at Getriebebau NORD, Germany, at the opening ceremony) the factory now boasts a 13.000 sqm shop floor, and can turn out over 24.000 drives per year.

Since 2005, the company has delivered more than 100.000 geared motors to customers across the subcontinent, ensuring short delivery times and fast service to regional customers. The new expanded service area, staffed with a team of experienced and highly trained technicians, will be crucial to ensure regional customers’ satisfaction in the future. In addition, NORD has launched an initiative for service vehicles, serving customers on location, quickly providing qualified customer service, and even equipped to offer training.
