Kurt presents the KHP3 hydraulic pump, designed to maintain constant pressure on hydraulic vises for reliable workholding. The pump is powered by normal shop air, not employing an electric motor, and uses 30-100 psi input pressure, sustaining up to 4.000 psi of constant pressure for use with all Kurt hydraulic vises.

The device uses an internal load-limiting valve for protection against overload, that allows the piston mechanism to cycle automatically when the systems ask for hydraulic flow at low pressures. The performance-on-demand feature keeps the pump pressurized, and ready to give hydraulic flow whenever needed. The KHP3 is equipped with an air exhaust muffler, that reduces noise levels providing quiet operation, with far less noise than comparable motor driven pumps. The pump offers compact foot-print, 6×8 inches, for easy location next to the vise or workholding setup, and each KHP3 kit comes with all necessary fittings, oil and choice of foot switch or hand switch.
