SMC complemented its product offer for high pressure control with the Itvh series electro-pneumatic regulator, engineered for accurate and stepless high pressure control. The Itvh series is either suited for air blowing and containment, able to control supply pressures reaching 3,0 MPa, and set pressure ranges up to 2,0 MPa.

Although the regulator is conceived to handle high pressure, in applications such as proof pressure testing or leak testers, it also operates extremely efficiently, consuming no more than 3W, being compact and lightweight, just 122mm high and 62mm across, weighing in at just 630 g (without cables and brackets). The regulator integrates SMC’s existing ITV Series, including the recently launched Itvx series which can assist gases by managing high pressure processes, such as oxy-fuel welding or cutting.
