High feed rate milling by Hoffmann Group

The Garant Power Q product family by Hoffmann Group offers high feed milling rates with high process reliability and high metal remove capability. The family is available with four different types of toolholders and indexable inserts in three system sizes, for a broad range of machining operations of steel, hardened steel, stainless steel and titanium. The newly developed geometry of the inserts make them very stable.

A two-part end face radius and large clearance angles ensure reliable chip evacuation, permitting high feed rates with constant performances even in deep cavities. The inserts are suitable for Garant Power Q tool carriers with diameters from 16 to 100 mm, that support the inserts both axially and radially. This secure bedding of the inserts allows to master flexibly all milling operations in a wide range of tasks, with high process reliability even with large overhangs. The tool carriers are available with a Weldon shank, plain shank, thread or bore. All the carriers are protected against corrosion and chip abrasion by a hard nickel plating.

If problems do arise within a period of one year, the customer can anyway send a damaged or worn milling head back to Hoffmann Group and receive a new one in exchange.
