Helicopter simulators with Moog

Moog has been selected by Reiser as supplier for the helicopter simulators FFS-D (Full flight simulator – Level D) to support the training of H145 pilots. Moog provided an Electronic motion base, a Vibration platform, a Control loading system and the related software. The project continues the teaming agreement between Moog and Reiser, started a few years ago on G-seats, now expanded to include the FFS market.

The Moog’s vibration platform is able to provide realistic levels of vibration in vertical, lateral and longitudinal directions, reproducing the specific feel of the H145 helicopter. The controls of the vibration platform level D, control loading systems and seat are designed to support the correct spectrum, amplitude and trend of vibrations through the desired operating envelope. Moog’s electric motion system runs with a dedicated next generation software, and a newly launched automated test module, to facilitate requirements of future QTGs (Quality test guide).
