Once again the United Grinding Group will host the Grinding Symposium in Thun, Switzerland, from May 8 through 10, giving customers the opportunity to discover the latest machines and technologies in the grinding machine sector and the manufacturing industry.
With a special concept that combines sciences and practice, the three-day event is aimed to examine in depth the meaning of current buzzwords such as networked production, machine learning in production processes and intelligent workpieces. In a series of 16 lectures, internationally renowned experts will explain the actual and future trends and developments of the grinding machine sector. Companies such as Mägerle, Blohm, Jung, Studer, Schaudt, Mikrosa, Walter and Ewag will give 13 technology presentations on their latest hardware and software solutions, with real case histories also including three new products. The 2019 edition will at last introduce a new section, the FutureLab, showcasing the innovative technologies of tomorrow.
