Gearboxes Lenze with double torqueERT

Lenze introduces three new gearboxes series g500 that deliver double torque now up to 20.000 Nm, expanding areas of use and applications of the cast iron gearboxes. The three different types of gearboxes have all an efficiency level greater than 94%. The two- and three-stage versions of the g500-B bevel can be integrated into machines for space-saving, to deliver finely stepped ratios up to i=360 and torques of up to 20.000 Nm. The two- and three-stage versions of the g500-H helical gearboxes achieve torques of up to 14.000 Nm with a ratio of up to i=370. The g500-S shaft-mounted helical gearboxes are distinguished by a slimline design, achieving 19.000 Nm with finely stepped ratios up to i=500.

The gearboxes are designed so that motors do not have to deliver as much energy as before, thus generating much lower losses. Due to the increased energy efficiency, also the degree of self-heating is reduced, leading to an extended service life. Combined with energy efficiency class IE3 Lenze motors m240-P and m550-P series, the entire geared motor then becomes a highly efficient working unit. In addition, the gearboxes can be combined with Lenze Smart motors to create intelligent, application-oriented packages, as well as with the company’s inverter-optimized MF motors and MCA- and MCS servo motors.
