Crown forklifts earned three nominations to the Forklift of the year awards 2016 by the international Ifoy jury, for three different products. Fist nomination to the Crown C-5 gas powered forklift truck, equipped with a Crown-built industrial 2,4 litre engine and a high-performance powertrain, with a dual radiator cooling system to separately cool engine and transmission. The series is reliable and offers high efficiency, and can be fitted with an optional hard cabin, providing operators a more comfortable working environment and all-round view.
Also nominated the RT 4020 stand-up rider pallet truck, with lift capacity of up to two tons, combining excellent responsiveness, reliability and highly manoeuvrable, ideal for fast-paced dock work, with high performance lift technology and innovative integrated safety features. Crown has been at last nominated for its Quick-Pick Remote solution, configured for the dutch supermarket chain Jumbo Supermarkten, a semi-automated solution combining Crown GPC 3000 low-level order pickers with an intuitive remote control device, that improved Jumbo’s productivity by 7,5%.
