The Italian Interpump Group announces the acquisition of 100% of the Spanish Inoxpa Group, a manufacturer and seller of process equipment and flow handling systems for the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. The acquisition, with an agreed price of 90 million euro, corresponding to 76 million euro of enterprise value plus a 14-million positive net financial position, significantly widens and integrates the products of the Water-Jetting division of the Italian Group.
Interpump will now be able to supply, besides Bertoli-branded homogenizers, a wide range of pumps, valves, mixers, processing systems and accessories. All products are manufactured in stainless steel, compliant with the strict requirements of the food industry. Inoxpa is headquartered near Girona, north of Barcelona, Spain, and in the fiscal year 2016 registered sales for nearly 60 million euro, made for 75% through 20 branches in 18 countries abroad. The international network of Inoxpa will contribute to further reinforce Intermpump’s already solid international footprint, widening the opportunities in the food, pharma and cosmetics markets.
