The Flexible Welding Enclosures from Huntingdon Fusion Techniques (HFT) are flexible welding chambers providing very fast purging time, down to a few ppm of oxygen, with a solution that can cost less than one tenth of a rigid metal glove box and less then one hundredth of a vacuum system.
HFT’s flexible welding bubbles are ideal in case of limited space available, and for small production quantities of items that need total gas coverage, when welding titanium, zirconium and some stainless steel joints. The standard enclosures are manufactured with two sets of glove ports and with optically clear upper half of the enclosures, above the arm entries, ensuring excellent welding vision. A transfer sleeve allows to pass small parts in or out of the enclosure without affecting the purge quality, and special enclosures are designed and manufactured to suit robot manufacturing cells and laser and arc additive manufacturing applications.
