Filter elements monitoring IMI Precision

IMI Precision Engineering added two differential pressure controllers to its range of IMI Buschjost products, for a variety of filter elements and dust collector applications. The two controllers reliably indicate the level of contamination in the individual filter elements, providing a signal for dedusting as soon as the upper threshold has been exceeded. The 834991 controller is suitable for use in differential pressure ranges of up to 35, 90 and 450 mbar, and can be controlled by PC via USB/TTL adapter, or by a membrane keypad.

Operators can set an upper and lower threshold in order to determine the dedusting area. The measured values are displayed on a seven-segment display as well as on a range of LEDs. The device is equipped with a dust-proof Makrolon casing, IP65 protected, and is available to a wide range power supply of 90 to 260 V AC, as well as 24 V DC. The 834992 offer the same applies, adding an integrated measuring hose cleaning filter feature, providing an ‘all in one’ solution in surroundings with no consistent thermal environment, where water condensation in hose pipes due to temperature fluctuations can lead to imprecise values or inaccurate measurements. The device automatically cleans the measuring lines through targeted pressure surges, enabling the operator himself to set the intervals for blowing and recovery times.
