Fanuc broke the record of 400.000 industrial robots installed worldwide. The company has indeed doubled its robots production in the last seven years, driven by the rising demand from manufacturers in China adopting this kind of technology. The major milestone have been reached in particular thanks to the popularity of the Fanuc R-2000i Series and the LR Mate. In addition, the attention of customers for collaborative robots led to the introduction of the CR-35iA collaborative green robot, with a payload of 35 kg, able to increase performances of productive lines and lower labour for employees, reducing costs and achieving higher safety levels.
Fanuc manufactures all of its products in the three Japan facilities of the company, self-producing all hardware and software components. With more than 2.000 robots installed, the company also has the most automatized production line in the sector, able to reach per-month capacities of 25.000 CNC and robot controllers, 125.000 servo motors, 84.000 servo amplifiers, 5.000 robots and 5.000 Fanuc Robodrill machining centers.
