Aventics expanded sales network with two new company-owned offices in Spain and Singapore, within the strategy to facilitate the access to products and services for customers around the world. The pneumatics specialist enhanced its presence for customers in southwestern Europe and southeast Asia as part of its internal growth strategy. The two new sales sites increase the total number of company-owned country units from 18 to 20, and additional locations are planned for 2016.
Michele Burla, a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of working experience in the automobile industry and the pneumatics business, has been appointed responsible for the Spanish market as general manager Spain. Kelvin Yeo heads the new country unit in Singapore as general manager Singapore, with a university degrees in electronics and electrical engineering in his curriculum vitae, as well as many years of experience in the pneumatics sector. Both general managers offer local customers direct access to Aventics, launching at the same time the new ES05 Essential Valve System series, a particularly economic and user-friendly solution for applications with standard requirements in industrial automation, that can be mounted with a single tools.
